You could make an argument that SplinterRIP and DeadspinRIP violated that last rule, using G/O Media trademarks, though that’s pretty lame. Difficult to see what Emma violated there.

He says as he reposts old stories to make it look like the site isn’t dead. Who does he think is going to read Deadspin now? After everyone is gone, and he clearly decided that whatever he wants the site to be, it’s not D eadspin?
I wonder how Great Hill feels about him taking a site that they spent millions on and rendering it essentially worthless.

It should go without saying, but no “good people” should take those Deadspin
jobs.
There is no editor left to shield you from incompetent, demeaning nonsense. It’s clear from how Deadspin effectively ended that you won’t be treated with respect. Like...nah. No job is worth your sanity.
